The Art Department at O Fiaich College aims to help and encourage each pupil to develop as an individual with the skills and confidence to explore their own unique imagination and creativity. Both at Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate Art we aim to foster a lifelong appreciation of art and visual culture through practical art making and creativity and through the study of Art History from the past and todays world. Overall we have a very practical approach to our subject, building strong personal connections and subject knowledge with a variety of media. With fantastic facilities this allows our students to have access to a wide range of Art, Craft and Design, allowing creativity in a friendly safe environment with a wide range of opportunities for students to discover their full potential in this subject.
