- Business will appeal to anyone interested in the world of business. People who have an organised mind and like to answer questions in bullet points, rather than in long essay format will enjoy this subject.

Where will it lead me?
- Business is not specifically required for entry into any third level course but it would certainly be beneficial for candidates who might be interested in courses or careers in a wide range of areas including Banking, Finance, Administration, Law, Insurance, Management and Marketing among others.
- Business introduces future business owners and managers to the nature of entrepreneurship.
Assessment
Business can be studied at Ordinary or Higher Level and is studied over two academic years. It is assessed in June of the second year in a final three-hour long exam (Higher Level) or 2.5 hour-long exam (Ordinary Level).
Projects
Students take part in a work placement each year during which Business students can apply their knowledge and learn about real businesses. Students also engage in Enterprise Week where they promote being enterprising to the O Fiaich community.
